Corporate gift hamper bags in bulk: sizes, fabric and branding

Three jute and embroidered cotton hamper bags holding ribboned gift boxes on a stone shelf

A corporate hamper is only as good as the bag it arrives in. The bag is the first thing a client or employee touches, and it is the part they keep and reuse. Get the size wrong and the gifts rattle or the lid will not close. Get the fabric wrong and the handles sag on the walk to the car. This guide helps gifting teams, agencies and retailers choose a hamper bag before placing a bulk order.

Start with the contents, then pick the size

Measure the largest box or jar in the hamper, not the average one. Add about one inch to the width and height for filler, and check the base depth (the gusset) so the bag stands on a desk or shelf. These are the sizes buyers order most. They are typical sizes, so confirm with a sample.

The loads are comfortable working loads for a typical build, not rated limits. If your hamper has glass, test the sample with the real items before you approve the run.

Choose the fabric by the look you want

Jute gives a natural, textured look and a firm shape, so it suits premium hampers and festive gifting. Fabric weight matters: around 350 GSM is a balanced choice for most hampers, and heavier jute suits larger loads. Cotton canvas gives a cleaner surface for printing and a softer look. Embroidered cotton suits boutique and client gifts where the bag itself is part of the present.

Branding that survives a real hamper

Jute is a rough surface, so keep artwork bold and simple: one or two colours, a clear logo and enough space around it. Screen print gives the sharpest result on a flat panel such as a canvas pocket. Heat transfer suits more colours on smooth cotton. Embroidery works best for a small logo or monogram. Our printing methods guide compares all three in detail.

What to settle before you order

  1. The largest item in the hamper, with its width, height and depth.
  2. The weight of a packed hamper, so we can match the fabric weight and handle stitching.
  3. Fabric and finish: natural jute, canvas pocket, window front or embroidery.
  4. Print: colours, placement and your artwork file (vector is best).
  5. Quantity, with our minimum order of 300 pieces per style in mind.
  6. A sample, approved with your real hamper items and artwork, before the bulk run.
